Gifts for Dad on Father's Day
I remember the gifts I gave Dad as a child; they were not such good gifts. Gifts like an ashtray made with my palm print, not only did he not smoke, but neither did any of our friends and relatives. Dad of course, pretended it was the greatest gift he had ever gotten in his entire life. He made a point of showing it to every visitor to our home for the next three months or so until it ended up in the “Gift Shrine” at the back of his wardrobe.
Well, it is that time again, what you give Dear Old Dad to remind him of his place in your heart. If you are anything like me, you are always at a lost as to what to give. Here are a few suggestions to spark your own idea of the perfect Father’s Day gift for your dad.
If your dad is anything like mine, he never thinks of buying clothes for himself (except those Dockers and flannel shirts) here are some great sites to find clothes for Dad. Check out these sites for great clothes, shoes, ties and other accessories.
If your Dad is into the sports scene, he may like some of the products found at any of these great sites.
Remember, Dads like jewelry too, how about giving him a new watch or a tie-tac? on the other hand, replacing those old cuff-links.
Was your Dad a Nomad in a previous life? Perhaps he would like to return to that way of life. Why not give him that special trip of a lifetime, and make it a family affair with you or his Grandchildren?
